I made the dish I'm specialized in. Aaloo ki Sabji (Potato Curry).
Lessons I learnt today:

I added a lot of salt to my Potato Curry today in the beginning so I thought I won't have to add more. Later when the curry was almost cooked, I tasted it to make final additions. Something was missing. I knew it wasn't salt caz I had added 2 table spoon full already. I added amchur and lil red chilli powder. It got better but not satisfactory. I thought this is the best I could do and I left it as it is.
When I had it in lunch, I added more salt to it (which is always there next to me on my table as my salt intake is more in my family). And I realized that today, I made the yummiest Aloo ki Sabji ever!!
So I went to kitchen and put another table spoon full of salt in to the curry!! :D
- Publicity is very important:

This is the third time since last year that I have made Aloo ki sabji. And today I made the yummiest!! BUT... The first time I made it last year, I made a HUGE deal about it and told almost everyone I possibly knew that I was cooking. So whatever the outcome was, everyone tasted it, liked it and appreciated. I made it for 2 meals for almost 7 people and just the five members of my nuclear family finished it in the first meal. But few days back from today, when I made it for the second time, I didn't brag about it much. And nobody told me how it was until a asked if anybody liked it.
And today, me and our servant, just decided to make the curry and nobody even knows that it ready. Well mom n my brother are not in town so I lost my two major appreciators right there, but still. :P
So, ALWAYS publicize yourself!! ;)
PS: Youtube is the best option!
